National Catholic Awareness Conference Japan (NCACJ)

November 21-22, 2020

Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation. “

(Mark 16:15)

In the homily of Pope Saint John Paul II to the International Forum, we were reminded that all of us in the Christian family today can be joyful, for we have been given the opportunity, as were the first disciples, to be part of Christ’s team in spreading the Gospel. All that is necessary is that we allow God to work through us.

The National Catholic Awareness Conference Japan (NCACJ) is one such response to Christ’s invitation. Unlike last year’s Conference which drew a big attendance, in Nicola Barré, this time it will be a ZOOM Online Conference on November 21-22, 2020. It is to celebrate the 471st Anniversary of Christianity in Japan and also to continue the fervor of the faith felt during the visit of Pope Francis to Japan last year.

As with our Faith Formation classes held on the first Sunday of every month at St. Ignatius Church, the Conference can be a great help with the group’s chosen theme this year, “Evangelization.” It can be a friendly way of deepening our faith and seeing how it can be lived in the broad areas of our lives, as speakers will share on a great variety of topics. We welcome all to come and join us, Catholics, non-Catholics, and those who are struggling with their faith. Please see the flyer above and register on the Conference website.
