On September 8, we celebrate the birthday of Mama Mary, our Blessed Mother.
Her life was one marked by incredible challenges and profound suffering, a path she walked with unwavering grace. What was the source of her strength? How did this seemingly ordinary woman not only endure but truly excel? The answer lies in her deeply prayerful life.
Mary had a "doctorate degree in crosses and sufferings," yet she survived and thrived because she was anchored in prayer. She teaches us that a life surrendered to God, nourished by constant conversation with Him, is a life that can withstand any storm.
Let's follow her example. Let's walk the road of prayer with her more closely and faithfully. In doing so, we, too, will find the strength to survive it all.
Happy birthday, Mama Mary!
